CHELOY Velicaria-Garafil announced on Friday that she has tendered her resignation as chairman of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) and accepted the offer to help in the Office of the Press Secretary as its undersecretary and officer-in-charge.
"This is a great honor and privilege and I thank the President for this opportunity to once again work with him in his administration to serve the Filipino people," Velicaria-Garafil said in a statement.
Velicaria-Garafil was a former journalist who became an lawyer. She previously worked as director 2 of the Committee on Rules of the House of Representatives.
